We are already making money. Why should we attend?
This program is good for any company, however the vast majority of attendees are companies that are already making money; but they want to become better at what they are doing. Profitable companies are always looking for ways to become more profitable!
Our company is very small. Will the class be too in-depth for us?
Many 2- to 4-person companies attend the program. The sooner you can learn the “business” side, the more profitable you will be, no matter how large (or small) your company is. You will model your company, by department, on the software that we teach you. As your business grows, you can continue using the software to predict how osed changes will affect your hourly rate, cash flow and profitability.![]()
Will I feel out of place during the program? I am good at what I do, but I know very little about the business side of the company.
Ninety-five percent of all contractors used to be technicians before they started their businesses. You will feel right a home in class, since nearly every company will be just like yours.
I’m not very tech-savvy. How hard is the computer program to use?
It's a very simple program. All attendees will be very comfortable with the program before they leave.
How big are the classes? I may need a lot of one-on-one help.
The maximum class size is 15 contractors. Because of the small class size, we can provide as much one-on-one help as any student needs.![]()
What materials are included with the tuition?

My company is in Canada. Will the software program work for me?
The software has a place for Canadian taxes to be entered. The rest of the program works just fine for any company in Canada or the United States.
We attended the boot camp awhile back. Would it be advantageous to attend the class again?
Many contractors have attended the program multiple times. In fact, returning students receive substantial discounts on their tuition.

Grandy & Associates is not currently presenting a boot camp in my geographic area. How can we bring a boot camp to my area?
Nearly all boot camps are sponsored by distributors, manufacturers or trade associations. If you provide us with contact information for the vendors or associations from your area, we will gladly contact the organization about the possibility of bringing a program to your area.
Three days is a long time to be away from my business. Will the time spent in class make up for the lost revenue while I am gone?
Nearly every company leaves class telling us the same thing:
“I wish I had taken three days out of my schedule to attend this program five years ago. If I had, we would not be in the trouble we are in today!"
There is almost never a "good" time to be away from your business for three days. But, by working your schedule around the boot camp, you'll see a return on your investment in both time and revenues.
What information will I need to bring with me?
You will need a recent profit-and-loss (P/L) statement, a list of employees and what they earn, and a list of your equipment. Once you register for the boot camp, you will receive a detailed list of what to bring.
Who from my business should go?
It is always recommended the owner and the "numbers person" attend. If you have managers (service manager, install manager, office manager, etc.), the program will provide a full understanding of the business side of the business, and why you need to charge what you charge.
Will my information be seen by the rest of the class?
Absolutely not! Each company has their own table and no information is shared openly with the rest of the class.
The tuition seems high. Is the class worth the investment?
Before your boot camp is over, you will know exactly what is making money and what is not. You will know your break-even rates for each department, and you will know your projected monthly cash flow. Knowing any of these things (plus dozens of others) will easily pay for the class many times over.
Cash is tight. Can we spread payments?
Many companies that need to attend the class are in a cash-flow bind. We offer monthly credit card payments for up to four months.
I’m still not convinced the class will be worth the time and money I will be investing. Do you offer any kind of guarantee?
Yes, we offer a 100% tuition refund (no fussing) if the class does not increase the profitability of your company.
