We all have a different communication style.  Understanding this and learning how to apply it to your conversations can greatly improve your relationships and your business.  Based upon the DISC Behavioral Model, we start you with the basics and then apply it to a variety of business settings that can help your sales people be more effective in selling, build up your team members morale and communication, and hire and promote the right people for the right job.  A one time assessment to determine your behavioral style is included with this series.

Lesson 1 - Understanding DISC Behaviors (45 minutes)

This lesson is the introductory course into the Behavioral Communication Style called DISC.  In it, you will learn the 4 different styles of communication, identify their characteristics and compare their styles.

Lesson 2 - Recognizing DISC, Understanding and Appreciating Others (45 minutes)

This lesson will build upon the foundation of lesson 1.  We will explain the difference between a natural style versus an adaptive style, introduce you to the different mixed styles, show you how to recognize the primary styles and explain how the styles need to adapt to facilitate better communication.

Lesson 3 - DISC Behavioral Selling – (60 minutes)

We are all selling something, Whether at work or at home, whether it’s an idea, a product, a service or even yourself.  Selling equals influence.  In this lesson, we will help you determine what your behavioral style is, then show you how you can adapt your style towards another behavioral style to be more effective in selling.   

Lesson 4 - Understanding Motivators – (50 minutes)

Understanding and adapting to a person’s behavioral style is great for building a better communication.  But do you know what motivates them to do what they do?  Motivators provide insight into why people connect with tasks or people or ideas.  It shows what gets people excited, passionate and what keeps them engaged.  This lesson will explain the 6 different motivators and how they affect people’s performance and behaviors.

Lesson 5 - Managing Your Team with DISC Behaviors – (Pre-order.  Coming soon in 2020)

You've learned about DISC behaviors, now learn how to apply this to your team!  Specifically for owners and managers, this lesson will help you identify gaps in your team, spot potential conflicts and help you facilitate better communication between all.

Lesson 6 - Hiring and Promotion – (Pre-order.  Coming soon in 2020)

Find out if your next hire or employee has what it takes to be a superior performer!  This lesson shows you how to develop a benchmark for a specific job and then use that benchmarking to see how well your candidate measures up against the job.  This can be used for new hires as well as promotions for current employees.  Save time and money by hiring the right employee the first time and reducing the learning curve with employees who are strategically matched to fit your company.
