The tuition seems high.  Is the workshop worth the investment?

Before your workshop is over, you will know exactly what is making money and what is not.  You will know your break-even rates for each department, and you will know your projected monthly cash flow.  Knowing any of these things (plus dozens more) will easily pay for the workshop many times over.

Cash is tight.  Can we spread payments?

Many companies that need to attend the workshop are in a cash-flow bind. We offer monthly credit card payments for up to four months.

We are already making money.  Why should we attend?

This workshop is good for any company, however the vast majority of attendees are companies that are already making money; but they want to become better at what they are doing. Profitable companies are always looking for ways to become more profitable!

Our company is very small.  Will the workshop be too in-depth for us?

Many 2 to 4-person companies attend the workshop.  The sooner you can learn the “business” side of your business, the more profitable you will be.  No matter how large or small your company is.  You will model your company, by department, on the software that we teach you.  As your business grows, you can continue using the software to predict how those changes will affect your cash flow, hourly rate and profitability.

Will I feel out of place during the workshop?  I am good at what I do, but I know very little about the business side of the company.

Ninety-five percent of all contractors used to be technicians before they started their businesses.  You will feel right at home in this workshop, since nearly every company will be just like yours.

I’m not very tech-savvy.  How hard is the computer program to use?

It's a very simple program.  Plus, we make sure that all attendees will be very comfortable with the program before they leave.

How big are the workshops?  I may need a lot of one-on-one help.

The maximum workshop size is 15 contractors. Because of the small size, we can provide as much one-on-one help as any student needs.

Grandy & Associates is not currently presenting a workshop in my geographic area.  How can we bring a workshop to my area?

Two days is a long time to be away from my business.  Will the time spent in class make up for the lost revenue while I am gone?

Nearly every company leaves class telling us the same thing:

“I wish I had taken time out of my schedule to attend this program five years ago. If I had, we would not be in the trouble we are in today!"

There is almost never a "good" time to be away from your business for two days. But, by working your schedule around the workshop, you'll see a return on your investment in both time and revenue.

What information will I need to bring with me?

You will need a recent profit-and-loss (P/L) statement, a list of employees and what they earn, and a list of your equipment. Once you register for the workshop, you will receive a detailed list of what to bring.

Who from my business should go?

It is always recommended the owner and the "numbers person" attend. If you have managers (service manager, install manager, office manager, etc.), the program will provide a full understanding of the business side of the business, and why you need to charge what you charge.

Will my information be seen by the rest of the class?

Absolutely not! Each company has their own table and no information is shared openly with the rest of the class.
